Preliminary Results/Potential Solution Direction:
- There are sufficient local opportunities to provide affordable and reliable sustainable energy for the homes. For instance, establishing a local solar park with energy storage in an “unused corner” of the spray zone around the project.
- Calculations on the energy demand of individual homes and the entire project show the year-round requirements. These calculations identify the critical points.
- Barrier: The legislator currently provides little room for energy communities to be self-sufficient under the new energy law. Consumer protection measures create barriers to independently managing energy supply without relying on the grid operator.
